Pedro Burgerbrau is a renowned Brazilian filmmaker, entrepreneur, producer, director, screenwriter, and teacher with vast experience in the film and television industry. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Film and Television Direction from the Savannah College of Arts and Design. Pedro has directed numerous projects, including documentaries, fiction films, corporate videos, and music videos in Brazil and the United States. He taught Film Direction at the LAFILM master’s program and offered his online course for free during the pandemic to help filmmakers register and exhibit their films on television. In partnership with Thomas Henne, Pedro founded Alva, a company specialized in product placement and branded content in films and TV programs. Through advertising solutions, Alva made it possible for independent producers and artists to execute their works without relying solely on their own resources, by mediating the obtaining of sponsorships with brands essential to make independent audiovisual projects viable.
